I have only just learned of Robin's death. I worked with him at the Department of Health and we often had lunch or a drink together. Although we lost touch, I remember he was great company and I was shocked and saddened to hear that he had died 6 years ago

Thoughts
As a young man Robin was renowned for his lack of punctuality. He would often be 15 to 30 minutes late in getting to the pub. However he was worth the wait. Always enjoyed being in his company. I will miss him.
